What should I do if I suspect unauthorized activity on my account?
If you have received an email that there has been activity on your Qualia Connect account that you did not perform, such as a logging into Qualia Connect on a new device or providing wiring instructions, you must take urgent action to secure your account.
Step 1: Regain Control of Your Account
If you are still logged in or are able to log in to your account:
- Review your Two Factor Authentication (2FA) SMS or Authenticator App settings to ensure you still control them.
- If you have never enrolled in 2FA, we recommend you enroll in 2FA for maximum security.
- If SMS 2FA is enabled, make sure your phone number is listed.
- Open https://connect.qualia.com/user/settings/security.
- Click on “Configure 2FA” and look at the “Text Message” box to confirm your correct phone number is listed.
- Only a single phone number can be configured at once.
- If an Authenticator App is enabled, we recommend regenerating the QR code and re-adding it to your account to ensure you are in control of the latest keys.
- Open https://connect.qualia.com/user/settings/security.
- Click on “Configure 2FA” and then “Authenticator App” to add a new Authenticator App.
- Any previously generated Authenticator App codes will stop working, as only the most recently generated code is valid.
- Change your password.
- Make sure to select a new password that you have never used before anywhere else.
- We recommend that you use the password generation features of a password manager such as Bitwarden, 1Password, or LastPass to generate and store a complex, unique password.
- Resetting your password will log you out and forget all other devices.
If you cannot access your account because it has a 2FA SMS or Authenticator App that you do not control, please immediately contact Qualia Support at support@qualia.com. You will be asked to show a government-issued photo ID matching the name on your account over a video call.
Step 2: Check for Unauthorized Activity
After you secure your account, please check for any unauthorized activity.
- Check your account's security log for unauthorized activity, such as providing wiring instructions.
- Open https://connect.qualia.com/user/settings/security.
- Scroll to the “Security Log”.
- Visually scan the log for events that you did not perform.
- Check the inbox on each order for any messages sent from your account that you did not send.
- Open https://connect.qualia.com/.
- For each order, if you have multiple orders, open the order and then open “Inbox”.
- Visually scan the inbox for messages that appear to have been sent by you but have not been sent by you.
Immediately contact the settlement agencies you work with to notify them of any unauthorized activity.

- For each order, if you have multiple orders, open the order and scroll to “Parties” to find the contact information of your Settlement Agent.
